Recently, lot of opponents talked about topic of "Kurds trying to secede from Syria. Why? Because the areas that have been freed according to the news, are the areas with Kurdish majority, and because the Kurds are proud of raising the Kurdish flag next to the independent Syrian flag .
First, I want to mention that I am very happy when I see the Iraqi Kurds helping Syrian Kurds, against a dictatorial regime, which what leader Massoud Barzani did, of training defected Syrian soldiers, and then asking them to return, to protect civilians, and protect their lands, and use the chance to control it, after the withdrawal of the regime's troops and organs "Whether it's a surrender, or for an anonymous political purpose"
Thus facilitate the FSA soldiers task, to free the remaining areas in Syria. They don't exploit the opportunity to divide Syria. Syria can not be liberated all at once.
Second, who attacks Kurds blindly, they are either not aware of its history and suffering, and what they gave to the Arab and Islamic nation, or he would be one of those people who support the Arabization policy, exactly like the Turkification policy of the Ottomans in all the areas they occupied.
The Kurdish flag doesn't indicate anything but Kurdish people who lived in this land for thousands of years, and who have been persecuted by the French and English occupation "Sykes-Picot" Baathist and Ottoman .... a long series of tyranny and oppression. Just now, they are happy being able to lift this flag without being -on impact- imprisoned and tortured.
Third,I don't want to hide from you that there are Kurds calling for autonomy or to self-determination for the Kurdish people after the fall of the regime, and this is very natural. there are millions of Kurds who have different and various opinions. Syrians should not be afraid of differences that takes a place between a party and another,it's so dangerous if this difference turn to a war between us as Syrians. Kurds themselves, have lots of disagreements with each other.
We must learn how to reach "an understanding" with each other in this critical political period, to create our destiny as people who will determine the fight for freedom and democracy.
Totalitarianism policy that put people all in one Crucible, when they must take exactly the same curriculum, is the same like bringing a new Baathist regime, but different names and personalities.
The new Syria must be for all, with no exception, and I assure you it will not be Syria without the Kurdish people.
